Myita Fashion is a Kolkata-based fashion brand which is trying to bridge the gap between consumers and regionally crafted saree manufacturers and artisans, It's an affordable/semi-luxury ethnic wear business which wants to stay bright, traditional yet a little minimal.They focus on providing quality ethnic wear for women regardless of culture, budget or style and on exchanging different cultures of the country with humble and convenient services for, both the artisans and the customers. The brand aims to remove all middleman costs and offer transparency.

Hundreds of clothing brands launch and thousands of sarees are sold on a daily basis in India. For a brand to stand out and to reach the market with the best of what they had to offer they definitely needed something more than their great ideas, and that is where we stepped in with our brand strategy and unique ideas to connect well with their target audience which was more than just the women of India.

We needed to design something that would be relatable to the people purchasing and equally relatable to the artisans and local craftsmen. This meant a brand which would be easily recognizable, yet would look fresh, something that would make every artisan feel inclusive but would also make every woman feel exclusive in her clothing. ​

A distinctive yet flexible brand that could easily be written in local languages for local advertisements and in Hindi and English for metropolitan cities and luxury sectors.

We created stamps from all across India to be used on packaging and garment tags. Every stamp is unique in its own way, the team studied about every state, picked out different facts from all and created suitable illustrations to match.

Now, of course, because the brand catered to high-end audience as well, we made sure to create a separate color palette for everything on the luxury end.

Keeping the brand's vision in mind, and keeping the psychology that a person's name empowers him the most, we made sure to add the craftsman's name on every garment tag, so that not only does it make him feel inclusive but also creates transparency for the buyers.

How did we stand out?

"On a fine Sunday, I was scrolling through my LinkedIn profile when I met this amazing person, Garima and soon I messaged her to seek help for my brand. We started working together in March 2024, and soon I realized that I couldn't have met a better person than her. She meticulously and smoothly handled the task and started working on the project, during 3 months of hard work she diligently designed the logo and the branding and helped me to understand my brand better. As a founder, it isn't easy to hire someone who adds value to your brand and I am very much delighted to hire The Yellow Outline for adding true value, also I am grateful to Garima for doing the project."
